ASME Engineering Festivals^® (or E-Fests) are regional events for engineering students that include design competitions, career development workshops, access to thought leaders and innovators in various engineering fields, and networking opportunities. E-Fests also extend beyond the in-person events and provide online content, resources and a community that enables students to foster innovation, network with key players in the industry, connect with peers and celebrate engineering!

Student Design Competition CY27 Rules

The CY27 Student Design Competition (SDC) challenge

is to design, fabricate, and test a versatile robot capable of completing a diverse series of engineering tasks that require speed, strength, precision, autonomy, and adaptability across multiple competition disciplines.

Please note this is for the calendar year 2027 (not academic year); these rules are valid from Jan. 1, 2027 - Dec. 31, 2027.
